Working on Code North projects with its people has been one of the most beautiful experiences on a professional level.
When I joined the Code North project, they had an ERP system management platform, called Mobiz. Initially the idea was to create a new Mobiz product with the intention of expanding its functionalities.
Four years later, Code North has one of the most exciting projects on its hands.
We started by creating a brand that was stable and dynamic where the concepts of sobriety and entrepreneurship coexist. A brand that gives the image of being stable and vibrant at the same time.

Initially Heartbeat was a platform to control business activity. With heartbeat a user could log the time and resources used in various types of tasks in order to have control of the business. However, little by little the vision expanded and new challenges appeared on the horizon.
One of the first unexpected things that arose in the Heartbeat project was the need to have a mobile version so that users can use it without having to be at their workstation. Many of the users of the platform turned out to be sales representatives who needed to have enough autonomy to be able to continue using the platform remotely.

Many of the users of the platform turned out to be sales representatives who needed to have enough autonomy to be able to continue using the platform remotely.
Once the first version of Heartbeat was finished, we got down to work for what would be a paradigm shift within the project. Basically, the idea was to expand the ability to manage the activity within a company to also be able to manage its financial activity by creating an App that could manage all financial movements within a company and having full control of the bank movements at the same.
The financial management App was a success and its prototype caught the attention of many people in the banking world to such an extent that the national bank of Iceland was interested in having its own version.
This new adventure opened new paths. Especially when we realized the amount of documentation necessary for the financial administration of a company. That's when Records was born, a document scanning solution that is still running strong today in many of Iceland’s banks and insurance companies. The Record App can stamp data with cryptographic keys and sign documents to generate immutable and secure records.
